Nei livelli più alti viene data per scontata la conoscenza degli argomenti richiesti per i livelli precedenti.
Gli insegnanti potranno decidere di spostarti di livello se lo ritengono opportuno.
Il livello della lezione si baserà sul livello della persona che i teachers riterranno più capace in sala.
BEGINNER
Balli Boogie Woogie da 3 – 8 mesi e questa è una delle tue prime volte ad un
workshop di questo tipo, se non la prima in assoluto. Sei in possesso dei fondamentali, della base, di figure come send-in, send-out, passaggio, giro spin, tuck turn. Durante le classi del workshop tutti questi concetti verranno richiesti ed approfonditi, inoltre ti verranno proposte alcune nuove figure e variazioni che andranno ad arricchire il tuo bagaglio personale.
IMPROVER
Balli Boogie Woogie da almeno un anno, partecipi a corsi regolari e/o workshops nei fine settimana. Hai imparato i concetti base del “guidare” e “seguire”, hai lavorato su tecnica, connessione, e un po’ su musicalità e improvvisazione e riesci facilmente a comunicare i passi al tuo partner. Le musiche con tempi medi sono le tue preferite, ma stai ancora lavorando per acquisire scioltezza su musiche con tempi più veloci o molto lenti. Balli abitualmente in social dance e sei motivato/a a saperne di più e a diventare un ballerino/a social migliore.
INTERMEDIATE
Hai almeno 2 anni di esperienza nel Boogie Woogie e hai preso parte a molti corsi e workshops locali, ed anche ad alcuni festival internazionali. Puoi facilmente mescolare passaggi di base e utilizzare tecniche diverse. La tua connessione è solida e puoi adattarti a molti partner. Hai un grande repertorio di movimenti, puoi tranquillamente mettere in pratica anche alcuni dips and tricks e ti senti a tuo agio quando balli.
Non temi tempi molto lenti o molto veloci, ti prendi sempre cura del tuo partner. Ti piacerebbe imparare cose più complesse e variazioni ritmiche. Hai già imparato diversi aspetti della musicalità.
ADVANCE
Balli Boogie Woogie da almeno 3 anni e partecipi a numerosi festival nel tuo paese o all’estero. Hai una grande comprensione del ritmo e una forte connessione con la musica. I tempi estremi non sono un problema per te e puoi ballare liberamente con qualunque partner, su qualsiasi musica. Hai solide competenze di floorcraft (consapevolezza dello spazio e uso del pavimento) e la comprensione di ciò che significa “partnership” in una danza. Sei un eccellente ballerino social e/o ti stai approcciando alle prime competizioni o all’insegnamento. Hai imparato o stai imparando anche altre discipline del mondo dello swing per ampliare le tue conoscenze.
SPECIAL CLASSES
Novità assoluta di quest’anno sono le Special Classes!
Saranno lezioni con specifiche tematiche di approfondimento, quali ad esempio aerials, musicalità ecc.
Ideali per dare un tocco speciale al vostro ballo, aggiungendo quel pizzico di pepe in più, che solo i nostri insegnanti sapranno dare!
Le Special Classes saranno incluse nei pacchetti che comprendono lezioni, oppure potranno essere acquistate separatamente insieme al pacchetto serate. Le classi saranno per lo più open level e per alcune sarà richiesto il partner fisso.

LEVEL DESCRIPTION
PLEASE NOTE!!!
At higher levels, knowledge of the topics required for the lower levels is assumed.
Teachers may decide to move you to a different level as they see fit.
The level of each class will be based on the level of the person the teachers deem most proficient in the room.
BEGINNER
You have been dancing Boogie Woogie for 3 to 8 months and this is one of your first experiences with this kind of workshops. You have mastered the fundamentals, the basic steps, figures such as send-in, send-out, pass, spin turn, tuck turn. During the workshop all of these concepts will be required and explored, you will also be introduced to some new figures and variations that will add to your personal background.
IMPROVER
You have been dancing Boogie Woogie for at least one year, participating in regular classes and/or weekend workshops. You have mastered the basic concepts of “leading” and “following”. You have also worked on technique, connection, and a little on musicality and improvisation and you can easily communicate the moves to your partner. Music with medium tempos is your favorite, but you are still working on gaining fluency on music with faster or very slow tempos. You regularly dance at social dance events and are motivated to learn more and become a better social dancer.
INTERMEDIATE
You have at least 2 years of experience in Boogie Woogie. You have partaken in many local classes and workshops, and also in some international festivals. You can easily mix basic steps and use different techniques. Your connection is solid and you can adapt to different partners. You have a large repertoire of movements, you can comfortably practice even some dips and tricks, and you feel at ease when you dance.
You don’t fear very slow or very fast tempos, you always take care of your partner. You would like to learn more complex things and rhythmic variations. You have already learned different aspects of musicality.
ADVANCED
You have been dancing Boogie Woogie for at least 3 years. You have attended many festivals in your country or abroad. You have a great understanding of rhythm and a strong connection to the music. Extreme tempos are not a problem for you and you feel confident in dancing with any partner, to any music. You have solid floorcraft skills (awareness of space and use of the dance floor) and an understanding of what “partnership” means in a dance. You are an excellent social dancer and/or are approaching your first competitions or are looking to become a teacher. You have learned or are learning other swing disciplines to expand your knowledge.
SPECIAL CLASSES
Introducing this year’s brand new feature: Special Classes!
These classes will be focussed on specific topics, such as aerials, musicality, and so on.
Perfect for giving a special touch to your dance, these classes will teach you to add that extra spice, something only our teachers will know how to provide!
Special Classes will be bundled with packages that include classes, or they can be purchased separately along with the evening package. These workshops will mostly be open to all levels, but please note that for some of them a fixed partner will be required.
