Sara’ con noi per il Christmas Party la Lucy’s Pie Tiny Orchestra… ma non solo!
Con lo stile dei grandi degli anni Trenta, l’effervescenza dei contemporanei e la dolcezza delle torte che, la nonna d’America Lucy preparava raccontando di quando ballava charleston, Lucy’s Pie Tiny Orchestra intrattiene con capacità i ballerini più esigenti. Dopo un’esordio d’eccellenza alla seconda edizione di Swing’n’milan collezionano soddisfazioni una dietro l’altra esibendosi su palchi importanti, festival e swing party d’eccellenza accompagnando i grandi nomi del jazz classico e dello swing in Italia tra cui Mauro Porro, Giorgio Cuscito, Paolo Tomelleri, Michael Supnik, Alfredo Ferrario, Claudio Perelli.
E sarà proprio Paolo Tomelleri con il suo clarinetto ad arricchire la musica della band sabato 14 dicembre insieme al sassofono di Sophia Tomelleri, la splendida voce di Beatrice Arrigoni e il pacchetto ritmico pulsante dei Lucy’s Rhythmakers.

Il nome d’arte, prende spunto da un famoso fumetto anni 30.
Gabriele Gariboldi Rocketeer-Dj e’ un personaggio eclettico, appassionato della cultura, musica e design che va dagli anni 40 alla fine degli anni 50.Fin da piccolo, ispirato dai genitori provetti ballerini di rock’n‘roll e legati fortemente alla cultura degli anni 50, muove i suoi primi passi in consolle negli primi anni 80, avendo però un campo molto ristretto dove potersi esprimere con la propria musica.Alla fine degli anni 90 apre un locale sul Naviglio Grande a Milano chiamato “AMERICAN DREAM” dove inizia a far esibire band legate alla musica anni 50.Animatore di diverse serate milanesi, ospite tra i più famosi festival di rock’n’roll tra cui Summer Jamboree, Vintage Roots Festival, Rock around the blues, ecc…Propone il suo record hop rigorosamente in vinile attraversando vari generi del favoloso periodo dagli anni 30 agli anni 50!

Lucy’s Pie Tiny Orchestra will be our guest for our Christmas PAarty on Dec. 14th!
With the style of the Big Ones from the Thirties, with modern effervescence and the sweetness of the cakes that American Granma Lucy used to make, while telling stories about when she used to dance Charleston, Lucy’s Pie Tiny Orchestra skillfully entertains the most demanding dancers. After a debut of excellence at Swing’n’Milan second edition, they kept collecting successes performing on important stages, festivals and prestigious swing parties, accompanying big names from classic jazz and Italian swing such as Mauro Porro, Giorgio Cuscito, Paolo Tomelleri, Michael Supnik, Alfredo Ferrario, Claudio Perelli. Paolo Tomelleri himself, with his clarinet, will actually enrich the band’s music on December 14th, together with Sophia Tomelleri’s saxophone, Beatrice Arrigoni’s amazing voice and Lucy’s Rhythmakers’ beating rhythm.

His stage name is inspired by a famous comic from the Thirties.
Dj Rocketeer is an eclectic person, passionate about culture, music and design from the ’40s to the end of the ’50s.Inspired since childhood by his parents, wonderful rock’n’roll dancers and strongly related to the ’50s culture, Rocketeer takes his first console steps in the early ’80s, with a quite small space for his music to be fully expressed.At the end of the ’90s he opens a club on the Naviglio Grande in Milan, called “AMERICAN DREAM” where bands related to the music from the ’50s start to perform.Entertainer in many Milan events, guest in the most important rock’n’roll festivals such as Summer Jamboree, Vintage Roots Festival, Rock Around the Blues, etc…He is proposing his stricly vinyl record hop, going through different genres from the fabulous years from the ’30s to the ’50s!
