L’estate sta giungendo al termine ed è ora di tornare sui banchi… ma di una scuola molto speciale!
Li avete conosciuti ed apprezzati, grazie a loro avete mosso i vostri primi passi nel fantastico mondo del Lindy Hop con l’allegria ed il sorriso che li contraddistinguono: siamo lieti di annunciare che, a grande richiesta, i maestri Elena e Tine tornano a Trieste per accompagnarvi nel corso di un intero anno di lezioni.
Tornare a studiare non è mai stato tanto piacevole!
Vi aspettiamo il 30 settembre per la prima lezione di prova gratuita in Via Marco Tullio Cicerone, 4 a Trieste. I corsi si svolgeranno in inglese e in italiano ogni venerdì sera: il primo ciclo di 8 settimane si terrà dalle 18:45 alle 20:00, per il livello 1, e dalle 20:15 alle 21:30, per il livello 2
LIVELLO 1
Questo livello è per i principianti e per quelli che hanno bisogno di consolidare le basi.
Il livello 1 inizia alle 18:45 (e dura fino alle 20:00), ma siete pregati di arrivare con 15 minuti di anticipo.
LIVELLO 2
Intermedi. Non avete problemi con le basi a 6 ed 8 tempi. Sapete fare swingouts e lindy turns ad un tempo medio.
Il livello 2 inizia alle 20:15 (e dura fino alle 21:30), ma siete pregati di arrivare con 15 minuti di anticipo.

INSEGNANTI
Tine Verbole è un ballerino professionista che, dopo un passato di attività nelle danze standard e nei balli latino-americani, scopre la sua passione per il genere swing nel 2011, quando, sotto la guida di Nejc Zupan, intraprende lo studio del Lindy Hop e del Balboa. Parallelamente all’approfondimento del Balboa, inizia a frequentare workshops di Solo Jazz, ed affina le sua abilità di ballerino partecipando a svariati festival internazionali, quali Ljubljana Sweet Swing Festival, Krakow Dragon Swing, Lindy Shock, Vienna Balboa&Laminu, Hamburg Balboa Weekend, Frankie’s 100 Berlin, solo per citarne alcuni. La sua prima esibizione di gruppo risale al 2012 ed un anno più tardi inizia a dedicarsi all’insegnamento tenendo corsi di swing.
Elena Terzic è appassionata di jazz e tutto quanto sia ad esso collegato sin dalla tenera età. La sua passione per questo genere si esplica dapprima attraverso la musica, ed il pianoforte in particolare, per poi estendersi al mondo del ballo swing a partire dal 2014. Da allora frequenta regolarmente workshops a Lubiana e partecipa a festival internazionali (Snowball, Orient Lindy Express, Ljubljana Sweet Swing Festival, Swingin’Graz, ViSwiFt, ATSf e tanti altri), che le hanno permesso di migliorare ed acquisire stili legati a vari generi (dal Lindy Hop e Six Count al Solo Jazz e Tap Dance, dal Collegiate Shag al Balboa). E’ co-fondatrice e una delle organizzatrici di eventi all’interno dell’associazione The Swing Freaks, per la quale tiene corsi di Lindy Hop, insieme a Tine.

Summer is coming to an end and it’s about time to be back…to a very special school!
You met and loved them, they made you enjoy your first steps in the fantastic world of Lindy Hop laughing and smiling: we are glad to announce that, by popular demand, the teachers Elena and Tine are coming back to Trieste to accompany you throughout a whole year of classes.
Going back to school has never been that enjoyable!
We’ll be expecting you for a FREE trial class on September 30th at Via Marco Tullio Cicerone, 4, Trieste. The courses will be held in English and Italian every Friday evening from 6:45-8:00 pm for level 1 and from 8:15-9.30 for level 2.
LEVEL 1
This level is for beginners & those whose basics need some work.
Level 1 classes last from 6:45 to 8:00 pm, but please come at least 15 minutes early!
*** LEVEL 2 ***
This level is for intermediates who have no problems with six count & eight count basics and can do swingouts and lindy turns at medium tempo.
Level 2 classes last from 8:15-9:30 pm, but please come at least 15 minutes early!

TEACHERS
Tine Verbole discovered his passion for swing in 2011, when he started taking Lindy Hop lessons, followed shortly by Balboa, by Nejc Zupan. Next to Balboa lessons, he would visit solo jazz workshops, as well as hone his dancing skills at various international festivals, such as LSSF, Krakow Dragon Swing, Lindy Shock, Vienna Balboa&Laminu, Hamburg Balboa Weekend, Frankie’s 100 Berlin, and others. His first group performance was in 2012, and a year later he started hosting swing lessons. Before picking up swing, he was active in standard and Latin American dance scene. Starting this year, we feel more than happy to see his active dedication and teaching of Lindy Hop help shape the seaside swing scene, as he inspires new generations of seaside dancers with his passion of dancing and exquisite elegance of style. At the festival, he will swing on the dance floor with absolute newcomers and seasoned dancers alike.
Elena Terzić has been a fan of jazz and everything related since young age, and never misses a concert of the greatest jazz masters. At the start, she would express her interest in the genre through piano playing, but has become a passionate swing dancer ever since she learned the first steps in 2014. Now dancing regularly at various workshops in Ljubljana, as well as at international swing dance festivals such as Snowball, Orient Lindy Express, LSSF, Swingin’Graz, ViSwiFt, ATSF etc., she is improving rapidly, and has also picked up various related styles (Lindy Hop, Six-Count, Solo Jazz, Collegiate Shag, Step Dance, and Balboa). She is the co-founder, president and main event organiser at the Slovenian sea-side swing society The Swing Freaks, where she hosts Lindy Hop workshops together with a professional Lindy Hop and Balboa teacher Tine Verbole, bringing swing closer to the people in Primorje (the Littoral). When not swinging away on the dance floor, she eagerly tries to think of ideas for the next seaside dance event or festival.
