Emanuele Margiotta, in arte “The Gentleman Thief”, da diversi anni è sempre presente negli avvenimenti importanti della realtà Swing romana e non solo.

Insegnante di vari balli Swing, dal Lindy Hop al Balboa, sa bene come orientarsi nella sua selezione musicale alla ricerca di quel pulse e bounce irresistibili per gliSwing dancers di ogni livello e nazionalità.

Come dj la sua proposta spazia dalle Big Bands della Swing Era al Dixieland tradizionale, dai classici degli anni ’30 e ’40 alle nuove produzioni e sonorità, passando per il Soul, il Blues, Jazz Manouche, Rhythm & Bluese, quando richiesto, l’Electro Swing.

Se non lo trovate impegnato a mettere musica potete sempre chiedergli un ballo…a condizione che riusciate a farlo, dato che sarà già a scatenarsi in pista o non ve l’abbia già chiesto!

Over the past years Emanuele Margiotta aka the Gentleman Thief has played a major role working for big events on the Swing scene in Rome and elsewhere.

Emanuele teaches Swing dances ranging from Lindy Hop to Balboa and is a renowned deejay who knows how to please his audience thanks to a music selection whose rhythm and bounce appeals to Swing dancers of all ages and levels. His music selection includes a broad range of genres: big bands from the Swingera, traditional Dixieland, standards from the 30s and the 40s, as well as newer sounds such as Soul music, Blues, Jazz Manouche, Rhythm & Bluesand Electro Swing.

Whenever he’s not playing records, you’ll find him swinging on the dance floor and more than glad to share a dance with you!
